What's one piece of advice you would give newer brokers?
Here's a simple yet important one-when submitting a package via email, make sure every document or file is appropriately named and you detail what the situation is for the merchant in the body of the email.

Be transparent with the merchant - we market expensive money - so don't sugar coat that FACT
always vet the merchant prior to get a better understanding of how you can really serve them, also discuss their plan with them to help them maximize the use of funds and avoid unnecessary defaults.
Full underwrite on the front is very important. Saves time and less likely to not fund.
Also include the amount the the merchant needs for their business . Max is not a dollar amount. My dog is named Max.
Try to include the most current MTD when submitting a file. It. can make or break a deal and no one wants to see any surprises at the gate. This can cause frustration for brokers and funders alike.
Be transparent with the funder(s) working your file and the applicant(s). Make sure the applicant(s) clearly understand the product(s) for which they are applying.
And also include any open balances with anyone!
